Description:
Following graduation from law school in 2003, Andrew was engaged in general practice in Norfolk, Nebraska. His areas of practice included criminal defense, DUI, personal injury, contracts, guardianships, family law, juvenile law, adoptions and mental health. During that time, he participated in a capital murder case and filed a motion to test the DNA of a client, who was ultimately cleared of a first-degree murder conviction, after serving nineteen years of a life sentence in prison. Further, he successfully sued the Department of Corrections resulting in the re-calculation of the parole dates of several inmates. Andrew has handled hundreds of criminal cases in his former capacity as a public defender for both Lancaster and Pierce Counties in Nebraska.
After joining Ogborn, Summerlin, & Ogborn in 2011, Andrew focused his practice on litigation in the areas of Civil Rights, Employment Law and Constitutional Law. He is also expanding his practice into the area of Copyright and Trademark Law. Andrew’s diverse legal background is an asset which allows him to offer his clients comprehensive legal assistance.
