Description:
Following her graduation and bar passage this last summer and fall, Nicole hit the ground running in cases stemming from construction defects, business break-ups, and automobile personal injuries. Nicole has been with OSO since 2003, first as a paralegal, then as a law clerk while completing law school, and now as an associate. Her experience as a paralegal gives Nicole a perspective and understanding of lawsuits with which few lawyers begin their careers, and as a result, she is well-versed in client relations, preparing a case from the start as though it will go to trial, and seeking an end result that best benefits those who she represents. In addition, Nicole has benefited over the last seven years from watching and learning from true trial lawyers, as well as by participating on the ABA National Trial Team while a student at the Sturm College of Law.
Nicole is currently the co-chair of the Construction Defect Task Force within the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, and she maintains a particular interest in issues relating to electronic discovery. Her practice within OSO is focused on construction law and business breach of contract, but she represents clients whose cases stem from other areas of law, such as personal injury and insurance bad faith.
